Every Friday in our school, we had the first hour - Moral Science Class. Today we assigned to took an awareness class for each trainees in their own concern classes. So the first hour, we three.. I, Leanda and Sr. Ranit went to 8A and took the awareness class.
Today was the "WORLD ANTI DRUG DAY - JUNE 26". So we the trainee students conduct the awareness section. Sandra led the section and we convey the messages through games and activities.

Deepthi maam came for class observation at 5th hour. In the beginning I checked the previous knowledge of the students by giving them the activity cards. The class was ICT oriented. The class mainly dealt with solving problems based on ONE SIDE AND TWO ANGLE THEOREM.
I also taught them two new concepts :
" ALTERNATE ANGLES" and"CORRESPONDING ANGLES "
Today we conducted the "WORLD MUSIC DAY" as it is celebrating on June 21st. Radhika took the main role of conduction. We selected two teams containing two members from each class. It was conducted in three rounds. It provides a lot of fun and atlast we sang together and announce the winner.
Today June 21 observed as INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY. So we the BEd trainees conducted the Yoga Day for the SPC and NCC cadets in the school auditorium at 10.30 am.
We taught them about the importance of Yoga in day to day life and some of the Yoga Asanas and make them do along with us. Last we collected the feedbacks from the students. That was quite a nice experience.
We the teacher trainess took an Orientation section for SPC Cadets of 9th standard. We handle the section smoothly. We showed the video of Nick and told them about Nick and ask to inspire something from their life.
We also told about Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir, former President and about him we had to copy from their life and we collected feedback from the students.
June 19- the whole world celebrated today as the "National Reading Day". I helped the students to place the chart on the wall related to reading day. Then we had a talk led by SAJITH MS the writer and fame in television. That was quite interesting and had a photo session with HM and principal sir.
After the lunch break, we the BEd trainees conducted a QUIZ COMPETITION on reading day. We proposed it for the students in 8th std and 9th std and 4 of them in each class participated in quiz competition.
We conducted it as in 3 rounds, Krishnakumar led the session very neatly and the first place goes to Sidharth and Nikhil from my class 8A.
INTENSE TEACHING PRACTICE
DAY - 1

Today was the first day of my intense teaching practice phase - 2. This was my second experience as teacher trainee. The school allotted to me was St. Johns HSS, Nalanchira & the class assigned to me was 8A. I'm so excited to be their maths teacher for coming days 😌🌚
17 of us, were 3 or 4 from each optional was allotted to the school. I was the team leader and the Assistant leader was Shilpa PG from Malayalam optional. Many of us were assigned for substitution duties, SPC exam duties etc
I was having my concern class on 8A at 6th period from 2 to 2.45 pm. Asha maam is my mentor but she was absent today. The students were nice and cooperative. I'm taking the very first chapter EQUAL TRIANGLES but introduce the chapter by adding some contents on geometry, geometrical figures etc. The class went on by drawing triangles when the measurements are given. I enjoyed my class so much.
