" A SMILE "

Today was a very astonishing day.After miss Ancy's class in the morning, I happened to do something that I had stopped many years ago. Today after a long time I got a chance to play chess. Perhaphs, because the opponent moved his chess pieces so well, I happily accepted the defeat in the hour & a half game. I was very happy to get an opportunity after a long time . I also learned that I'm not much bad at chess.

In the afternoon session, it was the capacity building session of Hari G V Nair sir. He started the class in a very good way and then went there with a 2 hour class. We didn't know how the time passed. He made me understand that the class with song & story is actually something that children like in schools. He said that children should be approached with "A SMILE"

 FINAL DAY OF TALENT HUNT ....!!

The final day of Talent hunt was filled with energetic performances from Physical Science & Social Science optionals. The feed back was excellent, the audience thoroughly enjoyed the function.

On the same day itself, we are invited to food fest program conducted by Sarvodaya Vidyalaya CBSE School, Nalanchira. The children brought homely food and served us at reasonable prices. We cooperate with them in a great way 🌝

College Union Advitiya along with reading & oratory club organized 'Vayalar Anusmaranam', Mr.Sumesh Krishnan was the resource person. His talk was so effective. The students thoroughly enjoyed the programme.

Shafina of English optional won the first prize for designing the poster for the event & those who bagged second & third prizes gifted with books.

Atlast our day reached... The heartbeat eventually increased as time proceeds. But, I have a high confidence level because I took my maximum effort during our practise sessions.

it was an eventful day as we received positive feed back from audience. The programms included group dance, mime, skit and so on

TALENT HUNT STARTED ...!!!

We are in a hurry- burry to make our programmes perfecto. Yesterday, we gathered together at Shilpa's home. That was something memorable. We together took a great effort at that day as we have only few more days.

Today we witnessed an energetic performance from English & Malayalam department. As we all knew, English department - the "VIRTUOSO" gathered the centre of attraction as they have double the number of students than others 

The event started at 1.30 pm on college Auditorium & ended up at 3.30 pm .Malayalam optional students released their magazines titled "PRAKRITI" , the teachers & students thoroughly enjoyed the programs.

 INAUGURATION OF CORRUPTION FREE KERALA

A campaign against corruption and drugs was well organised by the Vigilance & Anti- corruption bureau of the   Government  held in Girideepam Convention Centre, Nalanchira. It was inaugurated by the honourable Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan & fame film artist Nivin Pauly.

The programme started with a stage play on the theme " The impact of drug abuse on the household" and ended up with DJ session which allows us to enjoy and beat the floor after a long.

Different teaching strategies were applied in this week to got us more indepth knowledge about the topics we were learning .

The method which I loved the most was the group discussion conducted by Dr.Joju John Sir. As a part of it, we were divide into 4 groups with a leader, secretary and a time-keeper. We discussed about the pros as well as cons of technology in the current scenario .

On the following day, the secretaries came forward with the combined ideas got from the group . 

We arrived at a conclusion that :

It only depends on how people use it in their lives. If used judiciously, it's a boon or else a bane .

പെട്ടന്ന് തീർത്താൽ പെട്ടന്ന് അടുത്ത പണി തരാം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് Ancy Ma'am വട്ടം കൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട് 😑. ആദ്യത്തെ ക്ലാസ്സിൽ തന്നെ സെമിനാർ ടോപിക്സും കിട്ടി തൃപ്തിയായി ഇരിക്കാ ഞങ്ങൾ.. 🥲😪

MEDIA PRESS CLUB INAUGURATION

A media press club launched in our college for students to build their own opinions from an early stage, further it improves the decision making power too .

The chief guest of the function "Theo press 2k22" was C J Vahid Chengapally, Senior news reader in Dooradarshan Kendra who officially inaugurated the media press club of Mar Theophilus College on 13.10.22 . Moreover, he shared his involvement in the areas of news reading and keep us always delighted by imitating old actors & radio readers. He also added in his speech that theo press provides students much needed exposure in mass media & journalism .
