Today was our social  visit to Shalom  school. We have interacted with the children. It was a wonderful day. We have also purchased various items made by the children.... We performed many programs for them..... We played action songs with our teachers.... Really amazing experience.......

We the department of mathematics Hestia organized a charity programme for the old age people at Snehaveedu, Nalanchira. We provided them with needful things collected from the students and staffs of MTTC.

• അഴിമതിരഹിതം ഐക്യദാർഡ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് ചുമരിൽ കൈകൾ പതിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു  നാച്ചുറൽ സയൻസുകാരുടെ കമ്പയിൻ പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. എല്ലാ അധ്യാപകരും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കാളി ആയി.ശേഷം സോഷ്യൽ സയൻസ് വിഭാഗം നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയ മെഗാ ക്വിസ് മത്സരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാ കുട്ടികളും ഒരുപോലെ പങ്കാളികൾ ആയി. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിഭാഗത്തിലെ ടീം ആയിരുന്നു ഒന്നാം സമ്മാനം കിട്ടിയത്. മാത്തമാറ്റിക്സ് വിഭാഗം രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനവും, ഫിസിക്കൽ സയൻസ് വിഭാഗം മൂന്നാം സമ്മാനവും കരസ്ഥമാക്കിഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിഭാഗക്കാരുടെ treasure hunt മൽസരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നാച്ചുറൽ സയൻസ് വിഭാഗം സീനിയേഴ്സ് ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തി. വളരെ രസകരമായിരുന്നു പരിപാടി. വളരെ നല്ലൊരു day ആയിരുന്നു..... ♥️

We had our oath taking ceremony. First our chairperson took the oath and then followed by the vice person Haritha, then me as the magazine editor, followed by Arathy S R as arts club secretary. Important duties or positions were taken by Shafina and Meera as the General Secretary & UUC. Then we have our lady representatives Priyanka & Devika. Associate secretaries from each optional also took their oath. Deepa , Krishnakumar and Josmy as the magazine subeditors. Then we distributed sweets to our batchmates as a part of our happiness.

Today our vegetable garden was inaugurated by our  principal K Y Benedict Sir. All of us actively participated in this Social sweating programme. Everyone of us planted a sapling. After that we collected woods for the purpose of camp.

The freshers day for 2022-24 batch was organised on 11/11/22.It was a great day filled with the lots of fun and laughter. The events venue was the general Auditorium, the theme of the event was based on the 90's theme where the students dressed in 90s costume. The program included various task and activities and at the end a Theo Freshee & Theo fresher and best costume were selected and those who bagged these places where Aandhu and Krishna Kumar Priyanka and Ranjitha and soja respectively

ASSEMBLY OF EMRYS

 

It was the first assembly organised by first year students. The first turn was given to English department.English association Emrys was inaugurated by our Principal K Y Benedict. They have sponsered a book to library. The assembly includes English news, Campus news and thought for the day. It also distributed prize to the winner of letter to MTTC - Hida and Renjitha. They were given the opportunity to read out the letters.

GRADUATION DAY

 HAPPY GRADUATION TO SUPER SENIORS

Today all were dressed up in a formal and elegant way. I was very much confident that I look very pretty than every other days in that red saree. It also brings me positive energy and a willing to do each and every activity conducted on that day. Today was our convocation ceremony . It is the first time to coordinate any program with all optionals. We do all our chart works. Dr.Mathews Mar polycarpus came as a chief guest for the morning program annual day and award ceremony. I was able to hear some good messages from him. Maths Association was chosen as the best Association in Nisarga. I felt very happy everyone congratulated that first years students done everything beautifully. The Lunch was also served by our super seniors.

The next decision was their graduation ceremony the chief guest was Mr K Jaya Kumar IAS, then we conducted our cultural program for the seniors. And they participated very well with us .All in all it was a very nice experience and I feel better that I also can take some initiative in that program..

Our Principal KY Benedict sir instructed us to write a letter to your favourite teacher. By doing it, we noticed the good mannerism and characters a teacher is to be with their children. He divided us and seated with optional students and gave a chance to read eachone's letter to find the qualities of their favourite teacher.

We had capacity building class from 10 am to 12 pm by the resource person Mr.Manoj G who is a teacher at Gov.High School, Venjaramood. He taught us to face problems with a smile and discussed about small circle which make big difference in life ie,smile & he taught to take everything positively, we should have a creative thinking. Our goals should be specific in each stage of life & it should be specific in each stage of life attainable, realistically & measurable. We had a friendship quiz session. Then he taught us to become smart working person. We should be sincere. If we waste time without any use then the distance increases towards attaining the goal

INTRAMURAL - Chess tournament

The chess competition was organized by the department of physical education in association with IQAC, MTTC. The tournament was organized with the aim of selecting the best chess players. The opening ceremony was conducted by Dr. George Thomas, Department of physical education. It was inaugurated by our Principal Dr. K Y Benedict Sir . We had 6 teams for the competitions. After a long time, I got a chance to play chess . Somehow I managed to beat my opponent within the first 4 minutes. Prelims ended at 3.30pm & the finals of this tournament will be conducted on Monday.

The Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition

In association with IQAC & International quizzing association, M.Ed Department , MTTC has arranged Inter College Quiz behalf of celebration of International Teacher's day.

The quiz was schedulded on 3 November 2022. The quiz was unique in itself because it was held in association with unacademy . Around 88 colleges participated in this quiz contest. The competition was very tough but in the end the most exciting & thrilling battle was won by Engineering college team & the second position was achieved by them again whereas the third position was grabbed by Mar Ivanios College Team. All other participants were given certificates. It was very informative & knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience.

Everyone knows todays speciality without telling by anyone 66th birthday of Kerala. I came to college hoping for a good day like every other day .

During the very first period of Maya miss, she congratulated everyone who came in ethnic dress. Everyone took group photos & selfies together.

Today was a very astonishing day.After miss Ancy's class in the morning, I happened to do something that I had stopped many years ago. Today after a long time I got a chance to play chess. Perhaphs, because the opponent moved his chess pieces so well, I happily accepted the defeat in the hour & a half game. I was very happy to get an opportunity after a long time . I also learned that I'm not much bad at chess.

In the afternoon session, it was the capacity building session of Hari G V Nair sir. He started the class in a very good way and then went there with a 2 hour class. We didn't know how the time passed. He made me understand that the class with song & story is actually something that children like in schools. He said that children should be approached with "A SMILE"

The final day of Talent hunt was filled with energetic performances from Physical Science & Social Science optionals. The feed back was excellent, the audience thoroughly enjoyed the function.

On the same day itself, we are invited to food fest program conducted by Sarvodaya Vidyalaya CBSE School, Nalanchira. The children brought homely food and served us at reasonable prices. We cooperate with them in a great way 🌝
